New edition of Anything Goes

GrandPoohBlah   September 30th, 2011 11:39a.m.

My Chinese class is currently studying from the new edition (published in September) of Anything Goes. I see there are a few chapters of the old edition in the Skritter lists; however, I elected to start my own new list instead because of all the changes. It's slow going: there are almost 3,000 vocab words in this book. I've only been able to add up to chapter 3 (out of 30) so far. Is there anybody officially working on this list? Has anybody started this list and gotten farther than I have? Is there anybody else who is also studying from this list and would like to collaborate on creating a list for this book to save us both some work?

Thanks :)

No one on this end is working on a list. Nick was last seen diving into the iPhone app and only comes up for air when he really, really has to, and I'm working on the site myself.

One thing though, is you can remix the existing list. That way you don't have to re-enter every single word, you just would have to tweak the old edition, assuming they're mostly the same. Go here:

http://www.skritter.com/vocab/list?list=11131583

And click 'Remix' on the left hand side. This will create an exact copy of the list that you can edit yourself. You can remove and add sections, reorder them, and edit the words in the sections as well, so that would save you a bit of time I would think!
