Different definition between practice page and the look up

gattosilvestro   December 22nd, 2010 9:26p.m.

I've added the character 罒 to my words.
I've seen that in the practice page the definition is "*Net* - net; network (Kangxi radical 122)", but if I click on the "look up more info on this word" button the definition is "net; network (Kangxi radical 122, var. 2; 5 strokes)".
What is the reason of this difference?
In my opinion the second definition is the correct one, since when you are prompted to write a radical you should know if it's the standard form or a variant.

The Heisig definitions were created statically, so it absorbed a slightly older definition from when I hadn't added the stroke counts to a few of the radical definitions as disambiguation aids (and fixed this one to be listed as a variant).

The study page prompts load the Heisig definitions, but the word popup and the rest of the site do not, as they're inefficient and a bit of a pain. Does this make sense?
