How to add words to custom lists?

bowenjin   December 26th, 2010 10:19p.m.

I am trying to make my own list of chinese words; however, whenever I try to paste chinese characters into the "add words" tab, it always returns a message stating that I have not included any words in the blank even though I clearly have copied a word or phrase. So this leaves me unsure of what i am suppose to do inorder to add new words into my vocabulary list. Can anyone help me? It would be very much appreciated :)

How are you pasting them? Can you paste them here so I can see what might be happening? Thanks!

@bowenjin After pasting a word, you have to press the “return” key.

I had the same problem, and pts´s information solved it. Thank you!

I don´t think that this is entirely intuitive. Maybe you can change the sentence in the add words tab from "type or paste the words here" to "type or paste the words here and press Enter"?

Giving that a try, Tove! Update should go up soon
