Android Japanese Learning Application

Netbrian   October 9th, 2011 8:44p.m.

Hi!

Does anyone know of any good Japanese language learning applications for Android (I'd like to use it in places like the subway, where internet access isn't certain.) In particular, I'm looking for something that will show me kanji or an English definition, and ask me to type in the corresponding Japanese. Every single app I've tried has so far been multiple-choice only, and I haven't found that to be all that conducive to language learning.

I've been working with Obenkyou so far ( http://atomusk.free.fr/ ), but I'd love to hear about alternatives. A paid app is fine if it does something besides multiple choice.

Thank you! :)
