Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Hide pinyin/reading

Hi!
I like to study Chinese with the pinyin hidden, but I wanna see the reading in Japanese. Can you make the options so that I don’t have to change the setting every time I change the language?

I see your point, but I don't think we'll make these sorts of settings language-dependent. That would mean code changes in a lot of places for something which only a handful of Skritterers would want, and which probably more Skritterers wouldn't want (not everyone wants the same settings to be language dependent / independent).
